In the modern “SMART HOME”, use of HUBS help one APP on your smart phone or tablet, control -sound, lights and temperature among many other IP devices. Some of this interface will happen at Blue tooth between the “HUB” and the smart lock on your house for instance. This type of protocol can only be handled by modern hubs.
